SAS Students Reach Out to the Community

Students in grades 3,4,5 held a wonderful "Baby Shower" for the Howard County Pregnancy Center. Students collected baby clothes, diapers, and toys that will be put to very good use by new mothers. This project is one shining example of how SAS students and their families are making a difference in the community!

SAS Garden Groundbreaking!

Many helping hands made the groundbreaking of our new school garden a huge success! Our garden project will be a living classroom that enriches the student population with cross-curricular activities, hands-on learning, and community strengthening activities. The establishment, care, and maintenance of the school garden will be the responsibility of the student body with adult oversight and supervision.
