St. Augustine School was the first parochial school in Howard County
and one of the very first in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- 1857 - St.
Augustine School opened its doors to the community
- 1892 - Lay teachers were replaced by the Teaching Sisters of Notre Dame
- 1956 - New school was built
- 1957 - New convent was built
- 2000 - First lay principal comes to St. Augustine School
- 2005 - St. Augustine Church celebrates 160th anniversary
- 2007 - St. Augustine School celebrates 150th anniversary
- 2012 - 155 years and going strong!
