St. Augustine School provides tuition assistance to parishioners
of St. Augustine Church who qualify. We welcome the
opportunity to serve your family!
St. Augustine School was the first parochial school in Howard County
and one of the very first in the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- 1857 – St.
Augustine School opened its doors to the community
- 1892 – Lay teachers were replaced by the Teaching Sisters of Notre Dame
- 1956 – New school was built
- 1957 – New convent was built
- 2000 – First lay principal comes to St. Augustine School
- 2005 – St. Augustine Church celebrates 160th anniversary
- 2007 – St. Augustine School celebrates 150th anniversary
- 2008 -- 150 years and going strong!
